This is the unofficial start of the baseball-offseason-blogpost season. It starts with a look at the class of 2016.
Max Kranick, JP Walsh, Sean Homenchak and Zach Campbell were all members of last season’s All-Region team. Those four and Abington Heights’ Zach Spangenberg, North Pocono’s Matt Fisch and Mark Cicerini, Delaware Valley’s Trevor Bertsch and Lawrence Cicileo, Honesdale’s Adam Kelly, Wallenpaupack’s David Eckert, Lakeland’s Sean Pittack, Mid Valley’s Cody Petcavage, Holy Cross’ Gannon Palmiter, Old Forge’s Joey Gutowski, Forest City’s Mitchell Blake and Montrose’s Hunter Traver were Lackawanna League coaches all-stars. There are plenty more talented players that weren’t first-teamers, too.
Here are the career leaders in the stats we track on Varsity570.
